Guests

We've mentioned it previously in person to some of you, but Heather, our guest liaison, has been working her butt off to bring guests to the convention. She's been on fire, and we've got some awesome guests this year, and there's even more on the way. Without further ado, our first confirmed guests are:

Our VERY FIRST Japanese guest: Steve Bennett! Yes, Steve is moving to Japan, but we're one of the few cons in North America next year that will bring this con favorite and artist extraordinaire back to the States. We know you guys can't get enough of him, and we can't either. Steve's website is http://www.stevebennettart.com/. If you don't know his work, take a look. He's a great artist and an even greater guy!

Our second guest is one of our Web Comic guests of honor, Apple Geeks! We're extremely proud to be bringing one of the biggest guns in the web comic community to St. Louis. Hawk and Ananth are two of the brightest and funniest guys in online comics with a unique style and sense of humor, and I'm personally fanboying like crazy. Excuse me. *fans self*

The OTHER web comic guest we're proud to announce is Dominic Deegan's Mookie! We're loaded for bear when it comes to web comics this year, and we're proud to have this very funny and talented web comic creator join us for his first year at our convention!

Our fourth confirmed guest of honor is the MUSICAL guest! We've been talking to her about possibly appearing for years now, and finally the stars aligned just perfectly. We're thrilled to announce the first appearance of Lisa Furukawa at Anime St. Louis. And, watch over the next two weeks. We'll be posting a huge surprise about her concerts that will have our forums crashing for the next week after as you guys rush the site.
